Meditation

I’ll be teaching Buddhist meditation on a weekly basis at the French Institute from Sunday mornings 10-12. The class will be introductory, though anyone of any level of experience is welcome.
Practicalities: bring a cushion if you can. There are padded chairs in the space which are fine unless tonnes of you come, then some of us will end up on the floor.
About me and the approach: My name is Ananta and I’m a British guy with 20 years of meditation experience. I am ordained into what started out as a ‘western’ tradition to bring Buddhist teachings into the modern world, and is now a worldwide movement. The tradition is called Triratna and we’ve been going for 50 years:https://thebuddhistcentre.com/text/what-triratna-buddhist-community. We draw inspiration from ALL the Buddhist traditions and get to the heart of what Buddhism is about.
I know many ex-pats find it difficult to access Buddhism here and don’t have the time to commit to a ten day intensive retreat. I’m hoping to establish a regular class at the French Institute to primarily help people understand some basic techniques to apply in meditation and set up a regular meditation practice. If there’s interest I’d happily teach other classes on Buddhism.
Feel free to email for more details and info.
