To obtain a Visa for visiting China:

You can directly approach to Chinese Embassy,if you are looking for Tourist Visa then you would require confirm hotel bookings + confirm return tickets. it will take take two-three working days to get visa, fast visa also available with additional fee and you can get visa next day.

I did it last August, you can use the forms below (just fill out the application, take your money and head to the Chinese embassy early)  As far as I was told since I am not a Myanmar citizen I needed to show up in person.
