Rugby in Yangon

The Yangon Dragons Rugby Club would like to invite anyone interested in playing or learning how to play touch rugby and/or contact rugby to join our trainings on Saturday and Sunday!

Contact and touch training on Saturday in Star City starts at 3pm.  There is a free bus leaving from the Central Train Station at 2pm sharp and from the Yangon University parking lot on University Avenue at 13:30. If you are making your own way out, try to arrive at 2:45. 

Touch on Sunday starts at 11:00am at The International School Yangon (ISY), near Marketplace and next to the Australian Club. Touch is perfect for all playing levels, men, women, and children and is always a fun time out, sneaking in some great fitness. 

If you would like to join touch rugby on Sunday at ISY, please send the club an email, stating your first and last name to, yangondragonsrugby@gmail.com, and we will add you to our ISY touch rugby list.  You must be on the list if you wish to enter the school, and you must bring photo ID to show at reception.

The rugby club is going on a rugby tour to the Bangkok 10's (February 27- March 1).  If anyone is interested in playing with the men's 10 a side contact team or ladies touch rugby team, please join us on Saturday at Star City for training and Sunday at ISY for touch!
